Oliver is nine months old

Oliver is getting so big! We had his 9 month appointment this last Thursday and found that he now weighs 19 lbs. 11 oz. (25th percentile), he is 28 ½ in. long (50th percentile) and his head is 47 ½ cm (95th percentile). Needless to say the doctor is no longer concerned about his growth and he thinks that Oliver is doing very well. We are so very proud of him! Oliver is now mobile using a military style crawl (where he pulls with his arms and pushes with his legs) to quickly maneuver himself about anywhere he would like to go. He cut his second tooth. He has mastered his pincer grasp and loves to feed himself cheerios. He is starting to use new sounds in his babbling like ma, da, ba, etc. He is finally sleeping through the night most nights, which I am definitely enjoying. And he has learned three baby sign language signs: tree, light and fan. I think the fan is his favorite as he does that one quite often.
