Oliver Clayton Royal is 4 1/2 years old!

Wow, four and a half years already? Really? Happy half birthday little guy!

A few things about the half-birthday boy:

• about to finish his first year of preschool at Spanish Schoolhouse
• started speech therapy at Beaty Early Childhood Learning Center and is doing really well
• LOVES airplanes and wants to be a pilot when he grows up
• is a FANTASTIC big brother and would do anything for his little brother
• LOVES his family very much and is such a little snuggler (mommy loves this!)
• enjoys reading stories while drinking warm milk several times per day
• is routine driven, change is difficult
• is very passionate about everything he does
• moved up to level 2 at ASI Gymnastics
• favorite color is turquoise
• favorite food is ANYTHING chocolate
• is willing to try more adventurous foods
• sleeps in a big boy bed with an alarm clock and gets himself up

Since the birthday boy loves chocolate and planes, he received some of each to celebrate the day!

At least someone is getting some use out of it!

Santa brought Miles this jumparoo this Christmas and he never really has enjoyed it very much. I tried again today and now that he is mobile, he just feels like he is trapped. But Oliver sure did enjoy it! :) Check out the video to see Oliver jumping.

Oliver teaching Miles to walk

Oliver is so excited for Miles to walk. This has been his new favorite game for the past two days. This video is take 3 of Miles walking with Oliver's car, every time I turn on the camera he wants it. You'll also see how fast he is at crawling. This baby can MOVE! :)

Our Utah Trip

Unfortunately Oliver picked up a cold during his time back at SSH and gave it to Miles.  My mom's white blood cell count is up right now so we are going to go see them anyway since here oncologist said she would likely be fine if she caught anything but we are going to be more careful.

Petting zoo day at SSH

 Today was pajama day and they had a petting zoo for the kids at Oliver's preschool.  I loved that they invited the parents to come watch.  I felt bad for the bunny in the group picture.
