Well it is official, Oliver has the attention span of a two-year old. Last year we had so much fun carving our pumpkin; he sat there with me for at least an hour while we made our pumpkin into a Jack-o-lantern. This year was an entirely different story. Not that we didn't have fun, we just had fun being around each other, not necessarily doing the same thing. Oliver was interested in the pumpkin for all of about 5 minutes max. Then he was off to push around his truck. Next he used his wagon to successively run over my foot, the pumpkin carving materials, the pumpkin guts and oh I can't forget he ran over my camera too. Of course, it took everything I had not to laugh when my little two year old so sincerely told me "sorry, Mommy" after every offense. Each time he observed me using the knife he would come right over and tell me "careful Mommy". Oh, he just makes my heart melt! Anyway, I was able to get some pictures during his small window of interest. Here is Oliver checking out our pumpkin:
Welcome to the Royal Texans Blog
The Royal Texans blog is all about our family and the people we love. It's a little crazy being a Mommy of two lil' guys, but I eventually post everything so check back often for updates on Oliver and Miles!
