Oliver LOVES gymnastics and has now been participating once/week for almost four months. He has moved up to the new level, so I know longer participate with him so now I get to bring my camera and try (I use that loosely) to capture some of his moves. Unfortunately, I still didn't know what mode to use the camera on, but a couple of them turned out okay. Gramps was able to come with us to see Oliver in action and really enjoyed watching him. They usually start out jumping on the trampolines and practice doing seat drop, doggy bounces, freezing, etc. Then they move onto the circle where they do activities with songs and stretching. Then the beam circuit where they walk on a balance beam different ways and various other things, they also do a floor routine circuit where they practice donkey kicks, front and back rolls, handstands, jumping, etc and finally they go to a block pit that has a huge swing and is a lot of fun. We go early enough in the morning that there is typically only one or two other kids in the class so Oliver gets lots of individual coaching time.
Oliver on the trampolines -- his favorite!
This is the beam circuit. This is not Oliver's regular coach, but she is good and has taught him a few times. Oliver likes Coach Ginger, but he loves Coach Jason.

Oliver loved playing Play-Doh with Gramps before lunch
