Welcome to the Royal Texans Blog

The Royal Texans blog is all about our family and the people we love. It's a little crazy being a Mommy of two lil' guys, but I eventually post everything so check back often for updates on Oliver and Miles!

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

We decided to go to a Pumpkin Patch the weekend before Halloween. We opted for a free one with activities, and if you were looking for huge crowds, tons of bees, construction with backed up traffic and strange people, then this was your place on the Saturday before Halloween. Aside from the aforementioned negatives, we actually managed to have a great time as a family although we didn't pick out a pumpkin (we ended up getting those a lot cheaper at the grocery store).

Oliver lovers tractors, but was disappointed with this one because it had no steering wheel

He took Daddy and this little girl for a ride in this truck (with steering wheel) instead

Jumping in a bounce house

This video shows him jumping in the bounce house; unfortunately, this was the end of the happiness in the bounce house. Two other little boys knocked into him at the same time and he didn't know how to react. Needless to say he got out quickly after that.

This is the side of independence that scares me so badly. He just started walking away, not a care in the world that his Daddy nor I were close by.

hold me Daddy, hold me

the tractor that gave us a hay ride

Oliver uses his thumb and forefinger to pinch your skin when he is nervous. He was pinching at the beginning of the hay ride, but he quickly got into it.

after the ride, happy as can be

Barrel train ride: cost $8 (ridiculous) A little guy so happy: priceless! While we were on the barrel train ride, we spied an old tractor that Oliver was totally excited about when I told him he could sit on it.

This may have been the most fun he had all day!

look at that smile!

And finally, Oliver with some pumpkins!
